Everyone felt right at home there, whether relaxing on the porch, reading in the expansive library/great room, hiking and mountain biking the many beautiful trails, tubing down the Shavers Fork, enjoying the wonderful meals provided, or playing music, singing, and dancing after dinner. On any given day you can birdwatch in the vast spruce forest, mountain bike on miles of trails, and then relax with a cool drink and a book alongside the Shavers Fork. Ending the day with a hearty meal and conversation with friends by the fireplace generally sends me to bed relaxed for a better night's sleep than I get most any other place."
